Forbush Baptist Church has a youth program for all age levels. There are many actives planned throughout the year. Each month we plan a youth outing. The actives may include bowling, movies, swimming, plays or just having a meal together. There is always something fun and exciting specificly tailored for that age group.

We also have at least two fund raisers a year. The children raise money for the youth program to help pay for some other special things that they would like to do during the year.

Christmas is a special time of the year for our youth. The children put on a Christmas play for the church family. The practices usually start around the middle of September. The children have a great time planning the play and setting up the stage for the special night.

We here at Forbush Baptist Church believe it is very important to teach our children about our Lord Jesus Christ and all the wonderful blessings he has in store for them through life’s journey. Learning about God and his love is a fun and rewarding experience for our children here at Forbush. Our youth will make your child feel so welcome, they will want to come back again and again.
Children's Church is a ministry of our church directed at children from ages 3 to 5.  These children will leave the regular Sunday service after the Children's sermon to attend the Children's Church.

This is more of a educational opportunity then a sermon and is presided over by a teacher and a helper.  The program is for our youngest members and stresses biblical lessons.  There are also other learning activities such as art and games.   The goal is that the children will learn a lesson from the Bible story that they can take with them each week

It is the belief of the leaders that we must establish a firm foundation for the children so they will stay on the right path in the future.   We hope that each child will not only have fun as they fellowship with the other children but also take away a lesson that they can understand each week.
